Hello! This is the info page for the Gravity Falls Cookbook Project. Our Interest check will be coming up very soon so keep an eyeout!



About

This project will have three parts. We will be having a physical cookbook, a digital zine and both physical and digital merch.The cookbook will feature canon-themed recipes [think stancakes!] as well as character-themed creations from our contributors. The book will contain recipes, step-by-step instructions, photographs and illustrations.We will be having a digital-only zine to accompany the cookbook. This will contain art and stories related to Gravity Falls and food. Think coffee shop aus, the Pines family having breakfast together, characters preparing food, etc.Merch, both physical and digital, will be part of the project. The items will be picked based on interest check results.This project is for charity [left up to interest check results!]

Rules

+No drama [if you are known for harassment or anti-pro shipper discourse or have anything in your profile that is disrespectful to others ‘pro shitters’ ‘kys’ vibes] you will not be accepted.+ Everyone who signs up needs to be at least 18 years of age.+ You do not need any previous zine experience to apply. We welcome people who have been in 0 zines or 100 zines!+There will be no homophobia, racism, politics, transphobia or other such talk permitted in our projects our are servers.+ There will be no drama allowed in any project and mods have the right to remove people from the project.

Will shipping be allowed?
Only canon ships will be included.
How old do I have to be to apply?
You must be 18 at the time of application.

How many spaces per role will the project have?
Will be announced soon.
Can I apply for more than one role?
Yes but you will only be accepted for one.
Will this project be for profit?
All profit will be donated to charity.
Can I share the discord link when I get it?
Nope! Anyone who wasn’t invited will be removed.
Will I be judged on content I create outside of this space?
Nope.

Expectations

Chef
- To create and test at least two recipes.
- Provide units of measurement, step-by-step instructions, cooking temperatures, high-res photos of finished dishes. Photos of step-by-step are always preferred but some spot artists have a chance to illustrate the step-by-step. [Photos aren’t required but are welcome]- Recipes can be your own, family, or common recipes but reimagined to fit the theme. [Sugercookies that look like GF characters, pancakes that look like stancakes] focus can be on canon-mentioned foods [someone making an infinity pizza?] or food you imagine a character might have liked/like [Maybe Ford tried some strange neon pudding in another dimension and jotted that down in a journal]- Can create for starters, mains, snacks, desserts, and drinks.--
Writer
- Create a fanfic with the theme of food. Examples include but are not limited to. Coffee shop AUS, characters preparing food, trying food, celebrations including meals/food prep.
- Writers have 6k word count, which can be split between two fanfics.--
Spot Artist
-To create a full colour piece, either page or spread for the digital zine OR
- To create a minimum of two pieces and max of three pieces of art to accompany a fanfic for the digital zine or to help bring a recipe to life with illustrating the dish and step-by-step instructions. [can be backgroundless doodles, chibis or full colour]--
Cover Artist [2]
- To create the cover for the cookbook, full colour, fully rendered front and back art for the book.
- To create a cover for the digital zine.--
Merch Artist
- To create a minimum of one piece of physical or digital merch.
- Maximum to be discussed based on interest check and applications.- To follow individual merch specs.- We won’t know what merch we will be working with until after our interest check!
